If you travel about 13 km from Kannur on the Kannur-Mysore road, you can reach a place called Kudukkimetta. From there, you can travel about 1 km on the Mayyil road to reach this temple in Puravoor village. This temple, with its presence of nature and spiritual peace, is a center of faith for many devotees. The Puravoor Sree Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is one of the rare temples in Kerala that is inhabited by the peaceful aura of Narasimha Swamy, the consort of Lakshmi.
